Free BT Openzone wireless broadband

BT Openzone wireless broadband means that you can connect to the Internet from within a British Airways lounge from your own laptop, PDA or other wireless device.

BT Openzone is now free in all British Airways UK lounges. In addition, deals with local providers have been negotiated in many lounges outside of the UK to enable us to offer free wireless broadband. However in some airports there will be a charge.


What it means for you
  • It enables Internet access at broadband speeds without the need to plug hardware devices into a modem or telephone point.
  • You can gain instant Internet and email connectivity on your wireless device.
  • You can log on to your company network to download files and send email at broadband speed.
  • You can sit anywhere within a British Airways lounge as there is no restriction to one area.

What you need to access wireless internet
  • A wireless enabled device (laptop, PDA or other)
  • A plug-in wireless LAN card (laptop) or compact flash card (PDA) if your device doesn't have built-in wi-fi
  • A compact flash card with your PDA
