The new fare structure for British Airways flights between Germany and the UK has been improved to make it even more attractive:

• Even lower fares in all tariff groups
• No minimum stay for economy booking classes B and H, which means you can now take advantage of these tariff groups to fly to the UK in the morning and return on the evening of the same day

The three tariff groups are not subject to advance booking. However, if you book early, the choice of available - and very economical ­ fares is obviously likely to be greater. But no matter what flight you book, you´ll enjoy all the convenience and amenities of one of the world´s premiere airlines. Of course, every flight will also earn you award mileage.

British Airways now serves three different London airports ­ at fares you can combine to suit your needs. For example, if you fly to London/City, you can fly back home from Heathrow without the slightest problem.

British Airways will be operating RJ100 jets, which seat 100 passengers, on this new route.

The new weight limit is intended to improve security for our passengers and speed up check-in. On 1 January 2003, British Airways started to restrict the weight of checked baggage to 32 kg per piece on all flights.

In the case of very few specific exceptions ­ electric wheelchairs, sporting equipment, pets as baggage ­ passengers must notify their travel agent or phone British Airways at least 24 hours before departure  
at 01805 266 522 (EUR 0,12/Min).

This new weight limit applies only to individual pieces of baggage. Total weight allowances will remain unchanged.

• to/from the Americas/Canada/Mexico: 2 pieces, each weighing a maximum of 32 kg
• UK domestic: 1 piece weighing a maximum of 32 kg
• All other international routes: FIRST 40 kg
• Club World/Club Europe 30 kg
• World Traveller Plus, World Traveller/Euro Traveller 23 kg

You have probably already noticed that you can now enjoy the new amenities of Club World ­ the world´s only business class with a fully flat bed ­ and World Traveller Plus ­ our Premier Economy ­ on more and more routes. For example, British Airways is poised to introduce the comfortable new cabin on various routes, including

Abu Dhabi, Bahrain/Doha (for flights as of 27 Jan.), Riyadh (as of 8 Feb.) and Chicago/Houston, Newark, SãoPaulo/Rio/Buenos Aires and Toronto (as of 30 March 2003).

A new addition: Flights to Angola. Fridays from London/Heathrow, Saturdays from Luanda. You can book First, Club World or World Traveller.

Flights to Athens depart from Heathrow. Services from London/Gatwick will be discontinued until 31 March. From then on, you will have a choice of six flights per week from Gatwick. The existing Heathrow­Athens flights remain available.

Daily service to Charlotte has been discontinued.

Executive Club members can now earn and redeem award mileage on all routes operated by our new airline partner, SN Brussels. This applies both to flights operated by SN Brussels as well as to codeshare flights with BA in booking classes C, J, D and Y.
